The employee of the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases - head. the scientific research Department, M. D. A. E. Babushkin took part in the work of the 73rd all India conference of ophthalmologists, which took place from 5 to 8 February in new Delhi.

At the 73rd all India conference of ophthalmologists was registered about 9 thousand participants, the Russian delegation included ophthalmologists from Ufa, Moscow, Orenburg, Krasnodar, Astrakhan and other Russian cities.
The conference included presentations (including a video and poster) devoted to the most different and urgent problems of adult and pediatric ophthalmopathologyand: cataract and refractive (including laser technology)surgery (including our colleagues at IRTC "eye microsurgery"), vitreoretinaleand laser surgery, keratoplasty, anti-VEGF therapy of macular edema, glaucoma, immunodepressionOh therapy of uveitis, treatment of infectious keratitis and endophthalmitis, neuroophthalmologyAI, strabismus, etc. In the framework of the conference was held national symposia on glaucoma and diabetes, special session on oftalmologicheskiyWMD surgical tools. For 4 days ophthalmologists could be trained at the courses for school. At the special session of the best oral and poster presentations were awarded prizes. At the conference it was possible to see the great exhibition oftalmologicheskiywow equipment, instruments and medicines from the biggest of manufacturers. Perhaps most representative was the exhibition of Indian firms "Appasamy".
