The dedication ceremony of Professor Evgeny Alekseevich Egorov in of Honorary Professor of the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases was held on 5 April 2013. During the conference "Actual problems of treatment of glaucoma" the President of the Russian glaucoma society, PhD, Professor Egorov E. A. awarded a diploma and the mantle of Honorary Professor. Evgeni became the first Russian ophthalmologist, received the title. In response, Professor Egorov warmly thanked the staff of the Institute and expressed hope for further scientific cooperation and support. After the ceremony, the rector gave a lecture, which covered modern approaches to rational surgery of glaucoma.

Awarded the medal in honor of the 800 anniversary of Moscow, the silver medal of the Academy of natural Sciences "For the development of medicine and healthcare", recipient of RF Government prize.

- President of the Russian glaucoma society, Chairman of international Council of glaucoma, the first Vice-President of the Interregional Association of ophthalmologists. Member of the Presidium of the society of ophthalmologists of Russia.
