The head of the region Rustem Khamitov acquainted with the exposition of the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases - demonstrate the scientific novelties at the exhibition of institutions of the Academy of Sciences RB.
11 December 2015 General meeting of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The event, which was attended by the head of the region Rustem Khamitov and Prime Minister R. H. Mardanov, was elected President of the Academy of Sciences RB. Before the meeting head of the region familiarized with the exhibition institutions of the Academy of Sciences of Belarus, where were presented the exposition of the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases, including the demonstration of the scientific innovations and the most significant publications 2015
In his speech, Mr Khamitov said about the serious problems in the financing of science, thus pointed to the need to perform large-scale scientific research to give a global impetus to the development of the economy and society as a whole.
At the meeting, by secret ballot, was elected the new President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Professor Gazov a'fis Supyanovich. The newly elected head of the Academy Gayazov A. S. thanked everyone for their trust and emphasized that he intends to be actively involved in the work and urged his colleagues to productive professional activity and fruitful cooperation.
