4 Feb 2014 in the conference hall of the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases of the Academy of Sciences of Belarus was held a visiting session of the Presidium of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The meeting was opened by the President of the Academy of Sciences of Belarus academician Bakhtizin Ramil Nazifovich.
The agenda of the session included the 3 questions.
On the first of them with a report on the results of scientific and scientific-organizational activities of Department of medical Sciences the Academy of Sciences of Belarus for 2013 was made by Acad. – sekr., Professor Timerbulatov V. M., who presented the achievements and innovative developments of scientists of the Republic.
Further results and achievements of the scientists of the GBU "Ufa research Institute of eye diseases of the Academy of Sciences of Belarus" for 2013 was presented by the Director of the Institute, Professor M. M. Bikbov.
The President of the Academy of Sciences of Belarus prof Bakhtizin R. N. praised the work of academics and practitioners of the Institute to improve the health of the population of Belarus and noted that to date, Ufa research Institute of eye diseases is a modern, self-sufficient scientific institution, who has a deserved authority not only in Russia but also abroad.
