October 24, 2014 the regular meeting of the regional branch in the Republic of Bashkortostan interregional public organization "Association of ophthalmologists" and the Bashkir regional branch of the Society of ophthalmologists of Russia dedicated to the 115th ANNIVERSARY FROM the BIRTHDAY of PROFESSOR G. H. KUDOYAROV.

The conference was attended by 136 of ophthalmologists of the Republic. The conference was combined with celebration of Day of the elderly. We hired employees who have worked for many years in the Institute.

The meeting was opened by the Director of the Institute, Professor Bikbov M. M., warmly welcomed the veterans and introduced the report on the life and work of Professor Gabdulla Kudoyarov of Chabarovice, efforts to combat trachoma in Bashkiria and his contribution to the development of ophthalmology in our Republic.

Prof. Bikbov M. M., and told about today of the Institute, stressing the unbroken link between generations: only thanks to the selfless work of many generations established to combat trachoma Bashkir scientific-research Institute trachomatous turned into a multi-Ufa research Institute of eye diseases that occupy a worthy place among the leading research institutes of the country.
Director of the Institute spoke about the work carried out by the administration to perpetuate the memory of Professor Gulnara Kudoyarov, and presented a draft of a memorial plaque.
The veterans were happy to communicate with his former colleagues and the youth Institute. All anniversaries were awarded cash prizes, gifts and flowers. The friendly attitude of staff, friendly atmosphere during the tea party, nice memoriesyears of work at the Institute – all this remained in the hearts of veterans.
     
The conference scientific program was presented "live surgery" and reports.

Great interest was broadcast live operations from the or light Institute Pushkin street – implantation of intrastromal ring, MyoRing (surgeon - MD, PhD Usubov E. L.) and age-related cataract phacoemulsification with implantation of a mini-shunt, Ex-Press (surgeon - MD, PhD of Khusnitdinov I. I.).

There were 5 reports on topical issues of treatment of diseases of the anterior segment of the eye:

- M. D. zainutdinova G. H., "Inflammatory and degenerative diseases of the anterior segment of the eye",
- PhD Marvanova Z. R. - "dry eye Syndrome. What's new?"
- PhD Sagadatova N. M. - "Fluoroquinolones in the treatment of infectious diseases of the eye",
- PhD Usubov E. L. - "the Pathogenetic approach to the treatment of dry eye syndrome".

The conference was held in a friendly atmosphere, discussion of presentations and lively discussion.
