Participation in large-scale medical forum "health care Week in the Republic of Bashkortostan", 12 - 15 April 2016, Ufa

           From 12 to 15 April 2016 in Ufa held a large-scale medical forum "health care Week in the Republic of Bashkortostan", held at ENEA-EXPO, and numerous venues in the city (UV NII GB, RSC, Manakin, etc.). The forum program included 26 sections, where they discussed the problems of practical health care, science and education, especially for the production of medicinal products, medical devices and equipment. For such a significant event was the broad collaboration of specialists in all branches of medicine, including ophthalmology. Rich program of the Forum included the demonstration of innovative developments and the exchange of the latest achievements, which will undoubtedly contribute to the further development of national health care, and most importantly improve the health of our population.

A symbolic start and the creative impulse "the Week of health in the Republic of Bashkortostan" was given on the day of cosmonautics 12 April the Head of the region Rustem Khamitov, who is closely acquainted with the exposition of medical and pharmaceutical companies. Our Institute also participated in the exhibition, presenting scientific production and new developments.
    
 
In the framework of the forum on 15 April was held the Republican scientific-practical conference "Topical issues of glaucoma and diabetes eye". This year the conference was held in 2 stages. At the opening of the conference, the first of which was held in EXPO center, participants were welcomed by Director of the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases, chief specialist ophthalmologist of the Republic of Belarus, Professor M. M. Bikbov and the Deputy Minister of MOH RB Enikeeva D. R. were presentations on the treatment of diseases of the cornea and the retina. MD Faizrakhmanov R. R. in his report presented modern aspects of therapy of diabetes of the eye. Young scientistsof the Department of surgery of the cornea and lens (PhD N. B. Zaynullin, M. N. Astrelin, G. M. kazakbaeva, K. H. Hovhannisyan, I. rakhmatova, R. A. Kazakbaev, E. E. Lukyanov), and the Department of vitreoretinal and laser surgery (I. I. Arslangereev, R. M. Zainullin, M. R. sea Otters) reported on the results of treatment of patients with ectasia and retinal pathology. All reports aroused great interest, ophthalmologists of the Republic actively asked questions and discussed the current problems.

The second part of the conference took place on the territory of the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases and, together with the extensive scientific program included master class: demonstration demonstration operations. The session was attended by over 200 ophthalmologists of the Republic, as well as guests from St. Petersburg.
Guests of the conference welcomed the Director of the Institute, Professor M. M. Bikbov. Great interest was broadcast live operations from the or light Institute Pushkin street. Head of the II microsurgical Department, candidate of medical Sciences I. I. Khusnitdinov performed antiglaucomatous operation - the implantation of the Ahmed valve. Professor, Department of ophthalmology, medical faculty, St. Petersburg University, M. D. V. P. Nikolaenko in his report highlighted the current approaches to rational therapy of glaucoma. Regional Manager of the representative office "Russlend Arzneimittel GmbH" V. G. Getman in his report briefed the issues of therapy in the treatment of the syndrome of "dry eye".

Zainullin – "Current issues of medical treatment of diabetic retinopathy".

At the conference were presented the results of the contest on the results of the Republican ophthalmologists and participation in all conferences held by the Bashkir regional branch of the society of ophthalmologists of Russia in 2015, the Winners of the contest were awarded with diplomas and valuable gifts in each category:
