17 – 18 March fsbi IRTC "eye microsurgery" named after academician S. N. Fedorova received training in programs of higher and additional professional football suitson the education of ophthalmologists, organized by the International Council of Ophthalmologists. The Courses were attended by members of the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases - BP.and.about. head of scientific – educational Department, PhD Sagadatova N. M. and head I MIKROKIRURGIJASto them by the Department, Ph. D. Absalyamov M. sh.

The purpose of the course is the progress and promotion of postgraduate education in ophthalmology by providing the participants with information about the current training modules of the modern principles of conducting practical training, providing information about the existing pedagogical and training materials, both local and foreign information resources and specialists.

Lecturers: Carl Golnik - Professor of ophthalmology, neurology and neurosurgery, head of the postgraduate programme and Deputy head. Department of ophthalmology, University of Cincinnati, Director of educational programs of ICO (USA), Gabriela Palis is a Professor of ophthalmology, head of the program of postgraduate education clinic Italiano de Buenos Aires, head of the educational center ICO (Argentina), Eduardo Mayorga Professor of ophthalmology, head of eye Department of the hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires, program Director of distant and e-learning ICO(Argentina).

In the course of foreign colleagues highlighted the issues of international methods of training in ophthalmology, especially the training in the clinic and in the operating room, the use of clinical and surgical simulators, the programs assess the knowledge of residents, are considered in detail synchronous and asynchronous e-learning shows the importance of assessing the "response" in the training andfull (360°) assessment of the student.

The rector of the medical Academy of postgraduate education, academician of RAMS L. K. Moshetova familiarized the participants with modern trends in SovershenstvovanieYu training of health professionals in programs of higher and additional professional football suitson education in the Russian Federation. Head of the scientific – educational center of IRTC "eye microsurgery", Ph. D. Tumanyan E. R., introduced the report on "Selection of patients for admission to the residency. As is happening in Russia?".

The course was very intense, informative and was accompanied by lively discussion.
