International courses on vitreoretinal surgery, age-related macular degeneration and ophthalmic manifestations of diabetes
In Ufa on June 7-8, 2012 on the basis of state budgetary institution "research Institute UV GB an RB" passed the international courses on vitreoretinal surgery, age-related macular degeneration and ophthalmic manifestations of diabetes mellitus within the framework of scientific-practical conference on ophthalmosurgery with international participation "East-West" dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the Institute.
In the composition of the lecturing team were Kreissig I, J Schmidt, S Mennel, S Yamamoto. The courses covered issues of treatment of fundus pathology. Course participants are given detailed information about the methods of extrascleral filling, betonirovannaa, pneumoretinopexy. The theoretical material is combined with practical recommendations based on the analysis of clinical cases. The comparative evaluation of each treatment method, shows the individual approach to the choice of method of surgical treatment. The courses took place over 2 days.
