XVIII Congress of the European society of vitreoretinal specialists ("EURETINA – 2018")
20-23 September 2018 at the International Convention center, "Reed Messe Wien Congress Center" (Vienna, Austria) was the annual 18th Congress of the European society of vitreoretinal specialists, EURETINA-2018, devoted to modern methods of dealing with the pathology of the retina and vitreous.
This year the Congress was attended by over 3,000 delegates - representatives of almost all ophthalmic societies spanning all continents – Europe, America, Asia and Africa.
The scientific program of the forum was very eventful. There were 10 sessions (main sessions) covering all the major diseases in vitreoretinal pathology 5 sessions with the updated World data, 31 Symposium; 53 training courses, sessions, 27 oral presentations, and was presented 746 electronic posters and video presentations 66.

Thus, participation in the work of the 18th Congress of the European society of vitreoretinal specialists, EURETINA-2018 enabled the delegation of the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases, not only to get acquainted with the latest achievements in the world of ophthalmology, but also to present their own results to identify trends vitreal direction of the Institute, to meet old friends and make new ones.
