The doctors of the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases will hold a free eye examination

The specialists of the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases before the end of this year, will hold a free eye examination in Kumertau, Meleuz, Salavat, Sterlitamak, Ishimbay, Sterlibashevskogo, Zianchurinsky and Fedorovsky districts of the Republic. The main purpose of the action initiated in the beginning of the year to provide high-tech medical assistance to people in remote areas and to allow patients with diseases of the organ of vision to return to normal life. As emphasized in the Institute, examination and surgical treatment free of charge under the Program of state guarantees of free medical care in Belarus.
Since the start of the campaign conducted 215 visits to qualified doctors-ophthalmologists of the Institute, including doctors of Sciences and professors, which took more than 10 thousand people. About 2 670 people received surgical care at the Institute. Within this action the staff of the Institute have a visiting surgical care at the city hospitals, the result for the current year operated 320 inhabitants of Sterlitamak and Salavat.
All in all since the beginning of the year in Ufa research Institute of eye diseases conducted more than 25.5 thousand of ophthalmic surgery.
