Employees of the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases in the face of the head of the Department of vitreoretinal and laser surgery, M. D. fayzrahmanova R. R. and researcher zaynullin, R. M. participated in the work of the 16th all-Russian scientific-practical conference with international participation "Modern technologies in vitreoretinal pathology treatment". The conference was held in the Northern capital of Russia – Saint-Petersburg, 15 - 16 March.
The conference was opened by Boris E. Malyugin, MD, Professor, Deputy General Director on scientific work of FGAU "IRTC "eye microsurgery" named after academician S. N. Fedorova", Chairman of the Society of ophthalmologists of Russia. He invited the General Director of FGAU "IRTC "eye microsurgery" named after academician S. N. Fedorov" A. M. Churaeva, who thanked the doctors for the good and dedicated work, and also told about plans to hold a traditional event of ISTC in different cities of Russia.
Honorary lecture from a group of authors Volkov V. V., Danilichev V. F., Shishkin M. M., Boiko E. V., Kulikov A. N. on the topic of "Ophthalmotraumatology in the armed forces" has acted the head of Department of ophthalmology chair of FSBMEE HPE "Military medical Academy named after S. M. Kirov" MO of the Russian Federation, chief ophthalmologist of the RF Ministry of defense, doctor of medical Sciences Alexey Kulikov. At the end of the report in a solemn ceremony, the Professor was awarded an honorary diploma.
Huge interest of the audience called the broadcast "live" surgery, this year held in 3D format. In real time the participants watched the progress of complex operations on posterior segment of the eye. Intervention performed by experienced surgeons from Moscow, St.-Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Japan and Kuwait.
At the Symposium "Modern aspects of pathogenesis and treatment of diabetic macular edema" was made by MD Faizrakhmanov R. R. with the report on "Vitreous surgery for diabetic macularedema" in which he highlighted the latest developments of our Institute on the subject that aroused great interest among the public.
