19 October 2012 held a regular meeting of the Bashkir regional branch of the Society of ophthalmologists of Russia and regional offices in the Republic of Bashkortostan interregional public organization "Association of ophthalmologists", devoted to the pathology of posterior segment of the eye. The conference was attended by 192 ophthalmologist of the Republic and guests from Moscow.
The meeting was opened by the Director of the UF Institute of GB MD, Professor M. M. Bikbov. The conference was combined with celebration of Day of the elderly. We hired employees who have worked for many years in the Institute. All of them were awarded with gifts. The program was presented to 4 of the report. The first report "Pathology of the retina and anti-VEGF therapy on the modern stage of treatment" was made by the head of the Clinic of ophthalmology of the Russian national medical surgical center named. N. And. Pirogov, doctor of medical Sciences, Professor Mikhail Shishkin. Associate Professor of the Department of eye diseases, Institute of improvement of doctors of the Russian national medical surgical center named. N. And.Pirogov, candidate of medical Sciences S. Yu. Golubev presented a paper on the topic: "Age-related changes of the eye: the possibility and reality therapy." From UFRII eye diseases were: head of the interregional laser center Salamov R. L. "Treatment of retinal pathology with the use of MultiVantage laser MS-500 Nidek" and head of the scientific-educational Department, MD Akmanova A. A. "Treatment of degenerative retinal diseases". The conference was held in a friendly atmosphere, discussion of presentations and lively discussion.
