October 18, 2013 the regular meeting of Bashkir regional branch of the Society of ophthalmologists of Russia and regional offices in the Republic of Bashkortostan interregional public organization "Association of ophthalmologists", dedicated to topical issues of treatment of diseases of the anterior segment of the eye and cornea. The conference was attended by over 200 ophthalmologists of the Republic, as well as guests from the city of Cheboksary.
The conference was combined with celebration of Day of older persons, the meeting was opened by chief doctor of Ufrii GB PhD Marvanova Z. R., which on behalf of the staff of the Institute congratulated all of the veterans with warm holiday, wishing them health and long life. At the conference were also invited staff who have worked many years in the Institute. Anniversaries were awarded with valuable gifts.
In the scientific program of the conference was submitted on 6 reports. A report on the participation of employees Ufrii GB in the international Congress EURETINA-2013 (Hamburg, Germany), EuCornea, ESCRS-2013 (Amsterdam, Netherlands) made MD Faizrakhmanov R. R. trip Report onAll-Russian Congress with international participation "Glaucoma at the turn of the century" in Kazan city (5-6 September 2013). the winners of ophthalmologists RB presented the Deputy chief physician for clinical and expert work, candidate of medical Sciences A. sh. Muhamedianova.

The report "Diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the lacrimal apparatus of the organ of vision" was presented by a guest from the city of Cheboksary PhD Student C. F. Staff Ufrii eye diseases - PhD Sagadatova N. M. Burkhanov and Yu. K. , reported on "Antibiotic therapy in the treatment of acute infectious diseases of the anterior segment of the eye" and "Femtosecond laser vision correction". Lively interest was aroused by live surgery - femtosecond laser vision correction, drawn from the Institute or light on the street (surgeon - MD, PhD Usubov A. L.).
