Staff Ufrii GB – Deputy Director on scientific-production work, d.b.N. Shevchuk N. E. and ophthalmologist, candidate of medical Sciences O. V. Chaika – September 19, 2014 participated in the scientific-theoretical conference on "Controversial issues of ophthalmology", which was held by the research Institute GB RAMS. The conference was devoted to the problems of glaucoma.
The conference was opened by Director of the Institute academician S. E. Avetisov. With a welcoming speech of the Director of mnii GB named. Helmholtz, Professor V. V. Neroev and Director General of fgbu "IRTC "eye microsurgery" them. Acad. S. N. Fedorova", Professor A. M. wins.
During the conference there were discussed the issues of the combination of glaucoma and age-related macular degeneration: incidence, diagnosis, treatment, including antimonopolization therapy. They also discussed issues of personifitsirovano indicators in the diagnosis and monitoring of glaucoma. The expert reports were met with lively response from the students asking many questions.
