OPHTHALMOLOGISTS ASSESSED IN LONDON
Employees of the Institute under the leadership of Director, Professor Muharram Bikbov: introduced 22 of the report. They Ufa ophthalmologists presented the results of scientific research in such areas as femtosecond laser cataract surgery, including in children, the treatment of corneal diseases, retina and vitreous. No other Russian clinic was not presented at the Congress on such a scale.
Specially for the delegation of the Ufa research Institute British colleagues organized a reception and acquainted with the work of the Royal hospital in London. In addition, our ophthalmologists visited the diagnostic and treatment departments, operating the largest private hospital Hospital Wellington, listened to lectures on the organization of medical care in public and private institutions in the UK.
European Congress of ophthalmology, is the leading event in Europe, with the participation of experts in the field of pathology of the anterior and posterior eye segment, cataract and refractive surgery.
This year in London arrived more than 12 thousand experts and researchers in these areas of ophthalmology in more than 100 countries, a large territory was occupied by the exhibition of medical equipment. Scientific program of the Congress included sessions of oral and electronic reports, educational courses, satellite symposia, videosession.
