"The Science world" has no boundaries. 20th anniversary international conference EVER – European Association for Vision and Eye Research.
EVER is the leading ophthalmological research Association in Europe which covers all areas of ophthalmology and allied Sciences. At present, EVER has more than 850 members from 48 countries around the world and represented by 11 scientific sections. One of the main activities of EVER is the organizing of a high quality research meeting.
Congress EVER - 2017 traditionally held in the conference center Acropolis Convention Center in nice, France, in its work took part more than a thousand delegates from various countries. The scientific program of the conference covered not only all sections of ophthalmic disciplines, but also genetics, neuroscience, medical robotics. The conference was held organizational and scientific meetings, and presented a small exhibition of modern ophthalmic equipment, instruments and pharmaceutical products.
The delegation of the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases participated in the conference. A group of authors (Bikbov: G. M., Usubov E. L., kazakbaeva G. M., Kazakbaev R. A.) under the guidance of Professor M. M. Bikbov: presented two posters in the section "Cornea and Ocular Surface":
- Implantation of corneal rings Mooring in combination with crosslinking of the cornea inthe treatment of keratoconus
- Comparative evaluation of femtolazer-assisted and manual anterior lamellar keratoplasty in keratoconus
Poster sessions unlike traditional conferences, presented in an interactive mode, and the speaker responds to questions from moderators and the audience, defending their point of view.
The conference had some interesting meetings with leading ophthalmologists world: Professor H. S. Dua, Professor A. Dick, Professor L. Shmetterer and other foreign colleagues showed a genuine interest in the Ufa eye care school and a desire to participate in our annual International conference on ophthalmology "East-West".
