The delegation of the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases took part in the Jubilee all-Russian scientific-practical conference "Femtosecond technology in ophthalmology"
The delegation of the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases took part in the Jubilee all-Russian scientific-practical conference "Femtosecond technology in ophthalmology", timed to the 30th anniversary of the Cheboksary branch of FGAU "MNTK "eye Microsurgery" named after academician S. N. Fedorov", the 90th anniversary of academician S. N. Fedorov, the anniversary of the Director of Cheboksary branch N. P. Pastaia. The conference was held on 25-26 August, 2017 in the Chuvash state theatre of Opera and ballet, Cheboksary.
At the ceremonial meeting dedicated to anniversary dates was made by the Head of the Chuvash Republic M. V. Ignatyev, General Director of FGAU "IRTC "eye Microsurgery" named after academician S. N. Fedorova", Professor A. M. Chukhrai and other officials.
The scientific program of the conference included presentations on various aspects of the use of femtosecond lasers for cataract surgery, refractive surgery and keratoplasty.
The staff of our Institute presented two reports:
- Kazakbaev R. A. Comparative evaluation of the results of manual and femtosecond laser assisted anterior lamellar keratoplasty;
- Y. Burkhanov K. Comparison of the effectiveness of various femtosecond laser systems in cataract surgery.
A great deal of interest and a vivid discussion was caused by the analysis of clinical cases presented at the session of videogolden in femtocharge cataract. During the round table were discussed the questions in the diagnostic evaluation of patients with refractive interventions in history.
A meeting of ophthalmologists was held in a friendly and businesslike atmosphere.
