The delegation of the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases, headed by Director, Professor Bikbov M. M. participated in the annual XVI Scientific-practical conference with international participation "Modern technologies in cataract and refractive surgery" held C22 to 24 October 2015 in MNTK "eye microsurgery" them. Acad. S. N. Fedorova (Moscow).
In the conference participated more than 1000 specialists from different regions of Russia, countries of near and far abroad: Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Moldova, Brazil, Austria, Germany, India, Israel, USA, Syria, China and others.
The conference was opened by General Director MNTK "eye microsurgery" them. Acad. S. N. Fedorova, A. M., Professor Chukhrai. Welcomed the participants of the conference, the Chairman of the Board of the society of ophthalmologists of Russia Professor Malyugin B. E., Vice-President of the Society Professor Bikbov M. M.
Innovation at the conference was themed session consisting of 3 parts and is dedicated to esteticheski diseases of the cornea. Ufa research Institute of eye diseases was presented:

Of great interest was the session in the format of the hearing, chaired by prof Balashevich L. I., where it was distributed to individual clinical cases with hearing of the parties, both prosecution and defense in the face of influential ophthalmologists of Russia.
The honorary guest of the conference was Professor David Chang (USA), who spoke about prospects of development of cataract surgery in the next three years.
Traditionally held the exhibition of modern ophthalmologic equipment and tools. At the exhibition were presented more than 25 domestic and foreign companies.
The conference was held in a friendly atmosphere and has become another page in the scientific life of domestic ophthalmology and of our Institute.
