The delegation of the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases , headed by Director Prof. M. M. Bikbov took part in work of XV all-Russian scientific-practical conference with international participation "Modern technologies in cataract and refractive surgery", held from 30 October to 1 November 2014 in fgbu "IRTC "eye microsurgery" them. Acad. S. N. Fedorov" (Moscow).
At the plenary meeting Professor Bikbov M. M. gave the keynote report "the Results of single-stage phacoemulsification and canaloplasty in patients with glaucoma".
Leading researcher of the Department of surgery of the cornea and lens PhD Usubov E. L. surgeon and the III microsurgical Department Y. K. Burkhanov introduced the reports of the "Femto-assisted cataract surgery" and "Energy performance of ultrasound in the conduct of femtolazer-assisted cataract surgery" from a group of authors Ufrii GB.
Within the conference the exhibition of ophthalmic equipment, demonstration demonstration operations using microsurgical systems, instrumentation and consumables.
Presented at the conference on the assessment of possibilities of new technologies and clinical experience of the ophthalmologists aroused great interest and lively discussion.
