The seminar was held on the basis of state and private clinics of Vienna. In the course of its work were presented lectures on the organization of the health system in Austria, presents rare case studies, a brief overview of the European glaucoma management, modern methods of diagnosis of glaucoma and interpretation of the obtained results, the basic principles of medical, laser and surgical treatment of glaucoma.
I. Khusnitdinov presented a paper on the topic: "Rare cases of glaucoma surgery".
The participants visited a study tour of the state hospital At Hanuschkrankenhaus Hanusch Hospital, University hospital – University Eye Clinic AKH-Wien and private ophthalmology center Professor A. Hommer – Hommer Ophthalmology Institute. The clinics demonstrated the organization of ophthalmological care and treatment of patients in accordance with the stage of glaucoma, operating presents exemplary implant surgery gel stent XEN.
