Participation in the international conference TOD – Turkish society of Ophthalmology, 9 -13 November 2016, Antalya (Turkey).
From 9 to 13 November 2016 in Turkey, Antalya, hosted the 50th anniversary international conference TOD – Turkish society of Ophthalmology. This year the conference was held in Maxx Royal Hotel, Belek.
Traditionally, the conference organized by the Turkish Society of Ophthalmologists and attracts the attention of not only the ophthalmologists of this country, but many of the Turkic republics, countries of Europe, Asia and America. The conference was attended by about 2500 delegates from Turkey and more than 200 representatives of foreign countries.
The conference focused on all aspects of ophthalmology, including the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the anterior and posterior segment of the eye, neuro - and pediatric ophthalmology, ophthalmooncology.
The conference was held with the organizational and scientific meetings TCOD – of the society of Ophthalmologists of Turkic-speaking Countries, which in the Republic of Bashkortostan presented to 86 members.
At the meeting of the TCOD Professor Bikbov M. M. made an information report on the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases, eye care service in the Republic and discussed a number of issues of international development cooperation, including in the framework of the society of Ophthalmologists of Turkic-speaking Countries. PhD Usubov E. L., as the coordinator of TCOD in the Asian region, in his speech spoke about the role of young scientists in domestic ophthalmology and the prospects of participation of Bashkir and Russian ophthalmologists in international educational programs.
In the scientific program of the Ufa research Institute of eye diseases was presented a verbal report, "Acanthameba keratitis. Differential surgical approach to treatment."
Traditionally, the conference was an exhibition of modern ophthalmic equipment, instruments and pharmaceutical products.
