Glaucoma Guidelines was prepared and approved by the Expert Council of the Russian Glaucoma Society. The goal of the Guidelines – to improve the understanding of the mechanisms of pathogenesis and clinical manifestations of glaucomatous process, to form a rational approach to its diagnosis and treatment.

Guidelines have been developed on the basis of consensus of all the authors. These clinical guidelines - the result of a long collaboration of specialists - doctors and public health officials may use the Guidelines for the selection of optimal therapy, in developing quality indicators and management of clinical processes to create sheets of standard equipment, continuous professional development of doctors and formation of medical care volumes.

Designed for practitioners, students of additional postgraduate professional education, graduate students, residents, interns and medical students.
