Natalya Shevchuk

Deputy Director for Science.
Graduated from Bashkir State University in 1987, she is the Doctor of Biological Sciences and the author of more than 150 scientific papers, 2 monographs and 13 patents of Russia.
She is in charge of: 

- Coordination of research studies;
- Implementation of fundamental and applied research;
- Research training;
- Drafting of bridging scientific reports on ophthalmology,
the presentation of scientific and technical information and progress reports to statistical office;

Her scientific and practical interest is in immunological aspects of eye diseases, including viral and allergic conjunctivitis, keratitis, uveitis, retinal detachment. The Institute carries out applied and fundamental research supported by the Russian Fundamental Research Fund (RFRF).
